Together In Heaven: Shanann, Cece and Bella Watts

July 23, 2025

On August 13th 2018 in rhe wee hours of dawn, health supplement entrepreneur Shanann Watts and her 2 daughters, Cece and Bella, were murdered. Shanann was also pregnant with a son named Nico. Chris Watts, husband and father, strangled them all in a premeditated act in order to start a new life with his mistress. It isn't important how they died but how they lived. Now they are spending eternity in heaven together and Chris? Well, Chris will be spending the rest of his life in prison; a fate much more merciful than the fate of his family. His 4 year-old daughter Bella was recorded singing a song about her daddy called My Daddy is A Hero. Nothing could have been further from the truth.

Bloody Ozzy

Brits throw the word "bloody" around all the time so I figured I'd title this painting with it as well. After all, Black Sabbath conjures up snguinous images of bloody this and that. What rock star collection would be complete without a scratching of Ozzy. Sharrrrrron!

A Rose is a Rose is a Rosie

I haven't had a drawing mojo for a while but I knew that I had to pull it together and finish this one. Rosie Flores might look like the delicate flower her name describes but she is a powerful guitarist and songwriter with a style all her own. Of course i cant take all the credit for this rendering. I drew it from a photo my husband Barry shot of her during her recent concert at Tales from the Tavern. Drawing her inside the rose was my embellishment though. After the concert, Rosie and I became fast friends and i promised to do this drawing of her. So, Rosie. Here ya go!

Gina Rose Sigman: I've been drawing since I could hold a pencil. I graduated from crayons to prisma colors and then, 5 years ago, I discovered an app on my galaxy phone that allowed me to draw anything and everything I could imagine. I now had a portable art studio that could go with me everywhere; standing in line, the park and even in the car, as a passenger of course. I soon learned how to get my drawings out of my phone and on to paper where they could be framed, loved and admired by numerous recipients and clients. The rest is history. I graduated again and now own a Surface Pro 7 where I do most of my work. Yes. I'm a digital artist but , first, an artist. While most people see the things that exist in the world, I see the world in shapes, lines, shades and colors that are dying to get onto my canvas---uhm my screen that is. All of my drawings are original and free-hand. Now...walk through my door and enter the world of Gina Sigman Art. I thank my loving and equally talented husband Barry for believing me and leading me to do this blog project.
